RULES FOR THE GUESTS The colored ribbons In order to maintain the hierarchical balance which is the foundation of any true civilization and which nature itself dictates, our four friends, The Masters, will only accept a limited number of guests as their personal companions. The remaining visitors will at first be the guests of our madams, our fuckers, our maids and our children. As guests you will be divided in groups by colored ribbons which mark at which level you are to enter the celebration. You may exchange ribbons with other guests at any time you wish, but you are always to wear a ribbon. Black ribbon: guests of the masters Red ribbon: guests of the madams Blue ribbon: guests of the guards Yellow ribbon: guests of the maids Pink ribbon: guests of the children There are two ways of changing your ribbon: 1. you agree with another visitor to exchange ribbons 2. you ask a maid in the salon or the kitchen if there is any free ribbon in your desired color. The golden rocks The children of Villa Salò are accustomed to a certain reward system, known as The Golden Rocks System. Whenever they fulfill their duties to the satisfaction of The Masters they will be rewarded with a golden rock, with which they can buy themselves certain privileges within Villa Salò. As a guest you also have the opportunity to reward or win the trust of the children with a golden rock. The rocks can be purchased by the 4 Madams at any time. The price is 20 Dkr or 3 euros. Guests are kindly asked to: Behave respectfully as is suitable for guests and display self control. Follow the directions given during their stay. In Villa Salò it is strictly forbidden for guests to: Smoke (as this will destroy the aromas of debauchery). Take photographs, film or record sound without special permission. Make or receive telephone calls. Engage in sexual intercourse with the staff or children of the house. Take food or drink without permission. Wake anybody from sleeping. Touch any weapon. Speak in any other language than English or German. PLEDGE OF THE MASTERS I am a true libertine. I will do as I please. I know no shame. I am proud of my nature. I shall never accept any moral, religious or legal restraints. I shall never feel or show pity. I shall never feel or show remorse. I shall never feel or display love.
